台灣為全球製造業重要基地，高端自行車更為護國群山重點發展產業，碳纖維廣泛被應用在高端自行車產業，然因生產過程能耗高，因應全球2025年淨零碳排目標，目前國內對碳纖維廢棄物視為廢棄物焚化或掩埋處理，由於碳纖維廢棄物料高達30%、無法焚化的特性，勢必對空氣和土壤造成重大環境威脅。對照歐盟和美國等先進國家，已努力制定法律，推動碳纖維等高耗能材料的循環利用，大大有助產業鏈綠色轉型，激活新興市場與商機。若無法將碳纖維回收再運用，預期將成為台灣躋身國際的嚴峻挑戰！

Taiwan plays a pivotal role in the global manufacturing industry, with high-end bicycles being one of its key development sectors.Carbon fiber,widely used in high-end bicycle production, presents both opportunities and challenges—while offering superior performance, its production is energy-intensive,and its waste management remains a pressing environmental concern. Currently, in Taiwan, carbon fiber waste is predominantly incinerated, despite its non-ash properties and up to 30% material loss, posing significant environmental risks to air and soil.In response to global sustainability trends and the 2025 Net-Zero
Carbon Emission Goals, leading economies such as the European Union and the United States have introduced legislative measures to promote the circular economy for high-energy-consumption materials like carbon fiber. These initiatives not only accelerate industrial transformation but also unlock new market opportunities. If Taiwan does not establish a robust carbon fiber recycling system, it risks facing increasing regulatory and environmental challenges on the global stage.
